Nine weeks old

Here I am in my ninth week - rapidly approaching ten! Mommy and I continue to be busy visiting people and places and welcoming friends and family to our house. Last week Mor Mor came to see me all by herself. She said she didn't want to have to share me :). Then Mommy and I took an overnight trip to NH where I got see Katie and Kirsten and all of my Aunties on Mommy's side of the family. It was fun, but I missed Daddy and Bela. I hope they can come with us the next time.

This week Mommy and I are going to go to the beach. We also like to go watch Daddy play ultimate frisbee. I am getting so big, and Mommy and Daddy think I am the cutest and best baby ever!

Special days

Last week my Grandma and Grandpa came to Maine to visit me. We spent lots of time together. They think I am very special. I smile so much now and like to watch what is going on around (or above) me. I also love to be walked around and enjoy going places with my family.

Sunday was Father's Day - Daddy's first! We had a really nice day. We all think Mondays are stinky because that is when Daddy goes back to work.

Not much to say...

Another fun-filled week

Wow! The last 5 days have been really busy and FUN! I got to see so many people that love me; it was pretty great. Everyone is always so nice to me and gives me lots of hugs and kisses. On Wednesday I had lunch with my friend Ellen and her mommy, Thursday and Friday Mommy and I were in NH visiting Mor Mor and Pop Pop (I also got to see my cousin Katie for her 8th birthday), Saturday my family and I went to the Pet and People Walk in Portland, and on Sunday me, Mommy, and Daddy went to my cousin Nicholas' birthday party - he turned 2! This week Grandma and Grandpa are coming to visit me - I can't wait!

Weekend Fun

This past weekend was really fun. On Friday night Mommy and Daddy took me into the Old Port for the First Friday Art Walk. We went to the art musuem and into lots of smaller galleries. I was a huge hit everywhere we went! Then on Saturday Auntie Kim came to visit. She is really fun and makes me smile :). Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Six weeks old

Here are some recent pictures of me. I am 6 1/2 weeks old now. Daddy started his internship this week so it is just me, Mommy, and Bela at home. We go for walks and take naps and have gone on fieldtrips to Mommy's work and the mall. So far it has been pretty fun. However, I am pretty fired up (as Daddy calls it) in the evening and both he and Mommy are pooped.

I've started smiling! Mommy is not quick enough with the camera yet, but we are quite sure it is the real thing. I hope I can smile for you soon.

Our day at Reid State Park

When I was just 5 weeks old my parents took me out on my first big outdoor adventure. We had a picnic overlooking the ocean, took a long walk on the beach, and hiked through the woods. It was such a great day - we even saw a baby seal on the beach!!!

We've had lots of visitors. Mommy and Daddy forget sometimes to take pictures of people other than me (and Bela) so here are just a couple. Everyone has been so nice and I've gotten lots of really cute clothes to wear!

These pictures from my birthday - literally. April 18th, 2007. Don't my parents and grandparents all look so happy! I was 7lbs. and 7oz. and had lots of hair and long fingernails. My mommy tells me that I kept accidentally scratching myself.
